Argument. The gradient funds release but does not produce loops by itself; each loop type bends one-way flow into return through a different structural feature (angular momentum for accumulation, self-catalyzing pattern for encoding, parallel execution for cognition). The language tool runs on cognition and externalizes it across organisms and time, producing one of only two known categories of mechanism for igniting sustained fusion (gravitational and engineered confinement). Parasitism is downstream of accuracy: each loop type's parasites exploit the same mechanism that creates its bounty (the vulnerability is the capacity). Working with AI inherits this entire history at the highest energy density the loop has ever produced.
