Argument. The universe runs three kinds of loops, each enabled by the prior: accumulation loops (angular momentum converts collapse into orbit, concentrating matter), encoding loops (chemistry and DNA — write, read back, vary, select), and cognitive loops (internal models, simulation before acting). Language is not a fourth loop but the encoding tool deposited at the crossing between encoding and cognition — the tool that makes the entire graph visible.
